Super Friends Saturday
Celebrate February with us at Super Friends Saturday at the Anacostia Park Skating Pavilion. We’ll have skating, music, crafts, and karaoke for all ages, plus free skate rentals and a free shuttle from the Anacostia Metro (Parking Garage Exit). Come for the fun, stay for the community, and enjoy a winter afternoon filled with warmth and connection.

Super Friends Saturday
Join us for our last Super Friends Saturday of the season on March 21 at Anacostia Park Skating Pavilion from 12 to 4 PM! It will be a great day to get outside. Skate, sing your heart out at Love Song Karaoke, make wellness crafts, play games, grab snacks, and take home a free family portrait. We’ve even got a free shuttle from Anacostia Metro (parking garage side). See you there!

NatureFest Spring Break - Day 1 yay nature day
NatureFest is a week-long event during DCPS spring break, providing a safe space for youth ages 5 - 12 and their families to connect with nature and build lasting memories. Each day offers a variety of activities including boat rides on the River, scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, live animals, skating, and more!
Families, youth day camps and recreation centers are welcome. Youth must be joined by a chaperone throughout the duration of the event.
Registration opens in March.

Super Friends Saturday
Join us for our first Super Friends Saturday of the year—a New Year, New Me Wellness Fair at the Anacostia Park Skate Pavilion. We’ll be offering free skate rentals, music, and a variety of wellness-focused activities, including crafts, demos, karaoke, hot beverages, surprises, and more. Everything is designed to help you start 2026 feeling warm, well, and connected. Layer up and meet us there!
Park Care Day
Join Friends of Anacostia Park with Potomac Conservancy and Black Girl Environmentalist during Martin Luther King Jr. weekend for a community day of service at Anacostia Park.
Volunteers will work alongside partner organizations on a variety of park care projects, including trash cleanup and stewardship activities that support a healthier Anacostia and Potomac River watershed. Your efforts will help improve the park and protect this important outdoor space for everyone to enjoy.
Activities will be completed in small groups following a brief, hands-on orientation. All tools and supplies will be provided, and volunteers will receive additional details after registering.
