Youth ages 5 - 15 and chaperones 16+ are welcome to join FoAP Resident Angler Mr. Holmes and Fish & Feather Intern Val for fishing and fun at Anacostia Park. There are two sessions every Wednesday, July 9th - August 27th.
Session 1: 11 am - 12 pm Session 2: 1 pm - 2 pm
No sign up required. Participants will earn a free fishing rod + tackle box and a National Park Service Jr. Ranger badge. Interested chaperones will receive a free DC, MD, or Va fishing license.

Join Ms. Lorraine & the Fabulous Hand Dancers for an evening of dancing, fun, and community building in Anacostia Park. Water provided, bring your food/snacks.

Typical activities include trash and invasive species removal, mulching/watering trees, and beautifying the landscape.
